Education
Beyond the Classroom
We cultivate learning experiences where children and youth grow in relationship with God, others, and the world around them while developing skills that bless families and communities.

Serving Kids, Serving Families
We’ve created a community for families to grow together. We partner with parents in teaching and discipling their children through a holistic slate of programs ranging from academics to arts to adventure. We cultivate learning experiences where the whole family can deepen their relationship with God and others and develop skills that bless those around them. We aim to “lighten the load” for homeschool families to help them succeed in a sustainable and attainable way.

Adult Learning
Continued Education & Connection for Parents
We believe continued education and growth is required for the benefit of students’ at home learning while other opportunities exist for the edification of our parents and building the unity of our community.
As the lead educator and heart shepherd, parents are invited to gather for encouragement and training. There will be a 90 minute parent support group each week - one group meeting on Tuesday mornings and the other group on Thursday mornings. This is a time for prayer, bible study and continuing education with curriculum helps such as IEW Structure and Style training, Center for Literature Training, how to play math games at home and parenting help with book studies such as, Loving your Kids on Purpose. As a part of the larger Excel community, who hosts a rotation of speakers, we will also have occasional guest speakers during this time. We will also have open gym times and exercise classes for moms. For the strengthening and benefit of the family, we will host a twice a semester Saturday evening parent enrichment event for parents to attend together while children are watched by Excel Academy staff.
